Dr. Steven Mann is a Pain Medicine specialist whose main goal is to alleviate pain and restore his patients functional ability.
Dr. Mann was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He received his preliminary training in Internal Medicine through Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. He followed that by completing a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Mann utilizes a multi modal approach in order to tailor an individualized treatment plan for all his patients. He specializes in the latest state-of-the-art non-operative treatments for chronic neck pain, back pain, sciatica, joint pain, and nerve pain. He is proficient in electrodiagnosis (EMG) as well as the use of ultrasound. His particular areas of interest include the use of regenerative therapy and neuromodulation in the treatment of chronic pain.
Dr. Mann has authored multiple book chapters pertaining to pain medicine and has presented extensively at national conferences. Dr. Mann is an active member of the Spine Intervention Society, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, Interventional Orthopedics Foundation, North American Neuromodulation Society, and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
In his spare time, Dr. Mann enjoys playing basketball, traveling, and spending time with his family.
